Throughout the year, nonprofits host a variety of events that support their mission and constituents. From volunteer appreciation dinners to donor appreciation events, Ervay Theater provides the space nonprofits need to for the work they do. With a flexible space that accommodate both large and small gatherings, charitable organizations have the space to creatively develop events that further their mission and goals. From high energy youth centric teambuilding events to elegant cocktails parties honoring recent donors, Ervay Theater can help nonprofit organizations put their best foot forward.

The mood can be set for any event using the combination of a quality sound system and specialty lighting equipment. When guest enter the venue, they will be wrapped in the unique environment tailored specifically to the event.

Two catering stations can be staged at specific locations throughout the room so that the room’s natural flow is not impeded. A 10’ x 12’ rollup door allows vendors easy access to load in equipment and supplies. An ample, secure parking lot (50 spots) is available for attendees. The venue has a 200-person capacity for standing events such as receptions and cocktail parties. The capacity is 120 for seated events.

Originally a 1940s era movie theater, the renovation modernized the facility yet retained the defining characteristics of the original structure. From the lobby, guests enter the main event space which has 2,200 sq. ft. In the main room, a stage and sweeping staircase can be used during the program. The balcony and staircase make perfect backdrops for photographs.

A private dressing room, complete with restroom and shower, is available for event speakers to prepare prior to the event. The room is equipped with a vanity, oversized mirror and comfortable lounge seating.

Ervay Theater provides the space suitable for a wide variety of nonprofit events and activities. Conveniently located near downtown Dallas, attendees will appreciate the easy neighborhood access. The modern conveniences necessary for different types of presentations and events, coupled with the historic building and Art Deco styling, come together to create unforgettable nonprofit events.
